To commemorate the years that Virginia Park Elementary served the families of this community, we are offering everyone the opportunity to purchase school clothing. To keep it simple, we are offering t-shirts and hoodies. Please on the link below for a copy of the clothing order form. All pricing and additional charges are outlined on this form. Please note that the deadline to order is noon, May 26 and this date has to be firm to ensure delivery before the end of the year.
After an extensive consultation process, we are pleased to announce the name of our new school is East Point Elementary. Thank you to everyone for their participation in this process and to our School Council for their efforts in facilitating the process. Please click below to read a memo from our School Council.
The provincial government has launched new online surveys of students, parents/guardians, and staff. The data from these surveys will be used by our school to create our school development plan. Please complete the family survey by Monday, May 8, so we have representation from all of our families. A memo and email has been sent out with more information. Click here to complete the survey.
All students will be attending the production of Wizard of Oz at Holy Heart Theater on March 30. There will be a $5 cost to students, including transportation. Permission forms will go home in the near future.
A reminder to parents/guardians that all students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 20 to facilitate staff participation in the strategic planning process with the School District.
Please note that Tuesday, February 14 is the deadline for March orders. Late orders will not be accepted. April lunch orders will be sent out on March 8 and must be returned by March 14.

As the construction of our new school concludes, the school council of Virginia Park Elementary is welcoming feedback from the community on the name of the new school.
A school council meeting will take place on January 18, 2017 at 6:00 p.m at Virginia Park Elementary and those who would like to present to the council should contact the school at 753-7924 before 12 noon on January 17, 2017.
Presentations to the school council are to be under 10 minutes.
Names currently under consideration by the school council are:
Virginia Waters Elementary
East Point Elementary
Blue Puttees Elementary
