School Development Surveys

The provincial government has launched new online surveys of students, parents/guardians, and staff. The data from these surveys will be used by our school to create our school development plan. Please complete the family survey by Monday, May 8, so we have representation from all of our families. A memo and email has been sent out with more information. Click here to complete the survey.

Red Carpet Day

We are so excited to announce our first ever Red Carpet Day at Virginia Park Elementary on Wednesday, December 14.  Each student received their own invitation today to our gala event.  We invite all students to dress in their best attire and walk our Red Carpet.  Please note that students were informed that there is no need to purchase new clothing for this event.  Something they currently have in their closet is totally fine.  Students will also be served a turkey dinner during this event thanks to the generous donations of individuals and businesses and our volunteers who are working behind the scenes to arrange meal preparation.  This promises to be a fantastic event and we are all so excited.  Please stay tuned for further updates as we approach the big day!
