The mission of Virginia Park Elementary School is to provide positive educational experiences in a stimulating, nurturing   environment that enables children to realize their full personal and academic growth.  Through developing a partnership with the home and community we challenge our children to become responsible, caring and respectful citizens. 

Virginia Park Elementary School is located in St. John’s, NL. As part of the Eastern School District, we offer Kindergarten to Grade Six to approximately 220 students.

 Our Spring Fair is scheduled for Sunday,May 2 and planning has begun.

We need your donations:

• Bottle Stall (full bottles)

• New toys or Goods

• Small Prizes

• Baked Goods

• Packaged candy for loot bags

If you know of a business that might donate please let the office know, the silent auction table was a huge success.

       We have launched our school wide behaviour matrix which outlines behaviours that students are to follow to make our school a respectful learning environment. To view our behaviour matrix click here.

The Safe and Caring Committee at school has begun an incentive program to "Catch students following the rules." Students at VPE have always been been very polite but now they have a chance to win a prize when a staff member witnesses students practicing good behaviours.
