The mission of Virginia Park Elementary School is to provide positive educational experiences in a stimulating, nurturing   environment that enables children to realize their full personal and academic growth.  Through developing a partnership with the home and community we challenge our children to become responsible, caring and respectful citizens. 

Virginia Park Elementary School is located in St. John’s, NL. As part of the Eastern School District, we offer Kindergarten to Grade Six to approximately 220 students.

School News 

Registration forms for the Hot Lunch Program are now due at the office. If you have not returned the form please do so as soon as possible.

Our Breakfast Program will begin on Oct. 5. Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:45am and will end at 8:05am. Students are to enter through the main doors of the building and proceed to the gym.

Our Recycling Program will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Students are asked to bring plastic bottles and beverage containers to school on Tuesday mornings. We ask that you clearly label the bag with your child's name and include the number of items contained. Prizes will be given to students who do take part in our recycling program.

Please ensure that you have emptied and rinsed the bottles and containers and have removed any caps or straws.
